St. Peter's ChurchBingo - 2002/2003 School Year

Friday Bingo is held every Friday night.
Saturday Bingo is held on the first Saturday of each month.

You will receive a complete schedule for the year when you get your coupon book. (You can check School News for the week's schedule also.)

We will try to accommodate your choice to the greatest extent possible.

BINGO service hours conisist of two types of jobs using two shifts for Friday. Saturday consists of one job and one shift. Each night of work will be worth 5 service hours.

FRIDAY NIGHT BINGO JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Kitchen Workers - Report for duty at 5:30 p.m. Prepare food, coffee and set up the serving line. Sell food, candy and beverages. Clean up kitchen. Kitchen will close at 9:45 p.m.

Floor Workers - Sell pull tabs, specials and verify Bingos. Clean up auditorium through out the evening. Workers report at 6:30 p.m. Duties include setting up trash cans through out the auditorium and selling, and cleaning up the auditorium at the end of the evening. Cleaning consists of wiping down the tables and sweeping the floor.

There will be ten teams. Each worker will receive 20 to 25 hours (depending on scheduling, ie. inclement weather and no bingo on Good Friday) towards their 35 hours of require service hours.

SATURDAY NIGHT BINGO JOB DESCRIPTIONS

There will be three teams of workers. Each worker will receive 20 towards their 35 hours of require service hours.

REMINDER!! YOU are responsible for getting a replacement if you cannot make your scheduled assignment - not your team Captain and not the rectory. If for an EMERGENCY reason you cannot make your turn, you must call the rectory during the week following your missed turn in order to get a make-up date. If you do not call, an invoice for $100 will be mailed to you. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Your bingo dates will start as early as June 2002, and bingo is held as usual during the summer months.

BINGO IS USUALLY HELD EVEN IF THE SCHOOL IS CLOSED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER. IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION REGARDING WHETHER BINGO WILL OR WILL NOT BE HELD, PLEASE CALL YOUR TEAM CAPTAIN OR LISTEN TO THE LOCAL RADIO STATION.
